How to Get to Thailand from North America

There's no denying that Thailand is far away from North America and going to Mexico and the Caribbean is easier and less time consuming. You'd be missing out on so much, though, and with simple planning, it's really not hard to get there.

If you don't live in a major city with non-stop flights to Asia, consider booking a separate domestic flight to a major city rather than searching flights from your home city to Bangkok. This will probably result in a major cost savings. Book a hotel the night before your flight to Asia to make the experience more relaxing and to break up the trip. Stay at the airport if you want to save money rather than in the middle of the city.
